Spot on Speech Therapy is proud to offer interdisciplinary neurodevelopmental evaluations for children ages 0 to 5. Evaluations are completed by both speech-language pathologist (Rebecca Goldberg MS, CCC-SLP) and licensed psychologist (Alyssa King, PhD). This unique lens offers families multiple perspectives on their child’s development, communication, behavioral and emotional functioning, social skills, and learning profile. This type of evaluation may be very beneficial for young children who are presenting with speech and language concerns as well as broader concerns about their development. Families will receive a comprehensive neurodevelopmental report with a targeted focus on speech and language that summarizes the child’s strengths as well as areas for growth, provides relevant diagnoses, and outlines specific recommendations for a child at home and at school.
